James Appathurai – We would like Georgia’s democratic process to continue

“We want that democratic process continues in Georgia and it is as impressive as at present,” James Appathurai, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for the Caucasus and Central Asia told First Channel.

Appadurai talked about the forthcoming presidential elections in Georgia in an interview to First Channel.

“NATO will closely observe the elections. The group of NATO Parliamentary Assembly will arrive in Georgia. There will be other international organizations to monitor the elections. What does NATO want to see in Georgia? NATO wants high-standards elections. Georgia is on the right path,” Appathurai stated.
