Italy sealed off its northern region of Lombardy. A total of 16 million people have placed under quarantine till April.

Under the quarantine, wedding, religious and cultural events suspended, while cinemas, nightclubs, swimming pools, gyms, museums and mountain resorts were locked down.

Restaurants and cafes work from 6 a.m to 6 p.m. The distance from the table to the table should be one meter.

Italian authorities are urging residents to refrain from leaving their homes.
