Irakli Kobakhidze: We expect our turnout will significantly top 50 % in upcoming elections

“We expect our turnout will significantly exceed 50 per cent in the elections,” said Irakli Kobakhidze, Executive Secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream party.

According to Kobakhidze, “Georgian Dream will have a qualitatively and substantially strengthened parliamentary team.”

“We expect our voter turnout will significantly surpass 50 per cent, it could be 60 per cent. We have all the resources for that, but voter will decide everything,” Kobakhidze stated.

Kobakhidze noted that “the ruling team has the opportunity to form a one-party government, which is very important for the country’s democratic development.”

Irakli Kobakhidze, Executive Secretary and Head of the Election Headquarters of the Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia submitted the party list for the 2020 parliamentary elections to the Central Election Commission.
