Irakli Kobakhidze got what he deserved, UNM member Khatia Dekanoidze says

“Irakli Kobakhidze got what he deserved,” said the United National Movement (UNM) member Khatia Dekanoidze on Friday.

“Yesterday’s events at the office of the European Union Delegation to Georgia show that the Georgian Dream spares no effort to keep power,” Dekanoidze noted.

“I am sure Georgian citizens, our population think that Irakli Kobakhidze is Bidzina Ivanishvili’s servant who does not care about the country and its future. This is seen as Georgian Dream activists, so-called ‘Sonder brigades’ (aggressive mobs) mobilized shamelessly near the office of our strategic partners,” Dekanoidze stressed.

Nika Melia, Chairman of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) party, and Irakli Kobakhidze, the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party Chair, traded insulting remarks for several minutes in front of the EU Delegation Office in Tbilisi on September 23. Melia called Kobakhidze ‘slave’ and got ‘scoundrel’ in return.
