IPRM meeting underway in Ergneti

The meeting of the Incidents Prevention and Response Mechanisms (IPRM) Group is underway in Ergneti village near the occupied Tskhinvali region after a six-month suspension.

The release of illegally detained four Georgian citizens and unlawfully imprisoned Zaza Gakheladze will be the main topic for discussions.

According to Irakli Antadze, Deputy Head of the Analytical Department of State Security Service, the meeting will focus on humanitarian issues, borderization and other problems facing the locals.

“Unconditional release of the illegally detained Georgian citizens will be the priority issue to discuss at all international panels. We have the full support of our international partners,” Irakli Antadze stated.
