The information circulating in the recent reports of local media as if Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia plans to step down is not true – Georgian First Channel has verified the information.

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze denied reports about the resignation of Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia. “It is a lie, this is not correct information,” Kaladze told reporters.

According to Gia Volski, Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, the reports about Giorgi Gakharia’s resignation are being spread in order to cover up many interesting topics.
