IMF lowers economic growth forecast for Georgia

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has cut Georgia’s economic growth outlook from 4.3% to 3.5 per cent.

The IMF World Economic Outlook reads the Real GDP projection for 2022 would be 5.8 per cent, and the 5.5% growth is predicted in 2023.

Meantime, the Georgian government predicts 4,3% economic growth in the country in 2021.
