International Monetary Fund indicates the reduction of dollarization in Georgia.

According to the statistics published by the organization, the dollarization rate of deposits is 64.8% in 2017 and this index will decrease up to 64.1% next year.

By comparison with previous years, the dollarization of deposits was 66.8% in 2015, and 69.9% in 2016.

As for the dollarization of loans, the index is 54, 7 % in 2017, and it will be reduced up to 54.1 % in 2018.

By comparison with previous years, the dollarization of deposits was 63.1% in 2015, and 64.6% in 2016.

The National Bank of Georgia recently pointed out the reduction of dollarization.
