When the enemy threatened the Georgian language, it was defended by young people, today we especially need the unity, – Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II made this statement.

Today is a Day of Georgian language. When the enemy threatened the Georgian language, the Georgian youth defended it. We are glad that when we are under danger, we unite. This unity is especially necessary today. God bless us”, – said Ilia II.

The Day of Mother Language is marked in Georgia on April 14.
