On the 12th day of Natsu Basho tournament, Georgian Sumo wrestler Levan Gorgadze (known in the sumo community as Tochinoshin) defeated his rival great Sumo champion Hakuho.

On Thursday, Tochinoshin faced Hakuho and beat in 25 matchups.

Tochinoshin and Hakuho have met 25 times before and Hakuho has won all the matches.

Tochinoshin remained at the top of the heap with an unbeaten record (12: 0). At the 13th day of the Summer Grand Sumo Tournament he will face Shodai.
