Group of youngsters hold protest at a cafe where MP Elene Khoshtaria was present

A group of youngsters held a protest at a cafe where MP of European Georgia Party Elene Khoshtaria was present. The protest was organized in objection of playing the Russian anthem in the Georgian parliament on February 18.

The youngsters claimed that playing the Russian anthem is an offense of Georgia and demanded that Khoshtaria apologized and quit her MP mandate.

Later, the youngsters left the café and continued protest on the nearby territory. They performed the Georgian national anthem.

The protest is now being held at the office of European Georgia. Members of youth movements “It is a Shame” joined the protest. A minor clash took place between representatives of the movement and protesting youngsters.
