Grigol Vashadze: We had yet another bad and hard day in Georgia

We had yet another bad and hard day in Georgia, this is the first time I saw how the Vyshinsky was carrying out anti-opposition process in Stalin’s Russia, – the leader of National Movement Grigol Vashadze said when assessing the court session into Davit Kirkitadze’s case in Gurjaani District Court.

According to Grigol Vashadze, dictatorship has been established since November 28 and December 16 in Georgia.

“All we were deprived of our constitutional rights. Who was depriving us of the right to freedom of assembly, marching, movement, right to freedom of speech and expression, it does not matter. Whether or not these persons wore uniforms, it does not matter, as constitution stands above all of them and their uniforms”, – Grigol Vashadze said.

As Vashadze stated Davit Kirkitadze was detained for protecting constitutional rights.

Gurjaani District Court has ordered pre-trial detention as a preventive measure for the member of National Movement Davit Kirkitadze today.
