GPB to host live debates between GD and opposition

The Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) will host the first live debates after the October 31 parliamentary elections between the ruling Georgian Dream Party and the opposition.

The parliamentary authority of six boycotting opposition parties remains effective. Does the opposition intend to engage in the parliamentary work? What mechanisms could be applied for the legislative changes? How do the opposition politicians assume the appeals of foreign partners on taking up their seats?

Beka Davituliani and Beka Liluashvili from the GD, Levan Samushia from Lelo for Georgia, Irakli Kiknavelidze from European Georgia, and Aleksandre Rakviashvili from Girchi will hold the debates at 10:30 pm tonight.

The GPB proposed its airtime to political parties for public and constructive debates several days ago.
