GPB celebrates jubilee with TV premiere

Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) marked the 65th jubilee with a TV premiere.

On December 31, the GPB will premiere a new “Magic New Year or Story of One Kiss” movie at 10 pm. The film unites unique records preserved in the GPB archive and will take the viewers in the past and revive the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s.

The First Georgian Television turned 65 today. Legendary presenters Lia Mikadze and Aleksandra Machavariani went on air for the first time from a studio at the Tbilisi Funicular at 20:00 on December 30, 1965.
