Gov't releases information on international aid to fight pandemic

The Government of Georgia has released information on international aid mobilized in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

In particular, according to the government, the following international aid was mobilized: EU allocated EUR 430 million, as well as medical and humanitarian cargo; the US – USD 17 million; China – 55 thousand tons of medical equipment; Japan – antiviral drug and $ 2.8 million in aid; Republic of Korea – $ 400,000 in humanitarian assistance; UN – $ 1 million from Covid-19 Response and Recovery Fund; International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) – Rapid diagnostic equipment and 10.2 million euros, etc.
