Gov't considers to declare COVID-19-free tourist zones in Georgia

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, said: “The Government of Georgia is considering to declare COVID-19-free tourist zones.”

Georgian PM noted that those zones could be Sairme, Tskaltubo and Gudauri.

“We are thinking of making separate COVID-19-free tourist zones in Georgia. It could be Sairme, Tskaltubo, Gudauri. Batumi is still big for that. However, certain parts of Adjara could be possible. To do so, appropriate infrastructure is important,” Giorgi Gakharia said.
