Giorgi Kobulia: New terminal project will attract new cargo and create new jobs in Batumi port

Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kobulia attended the presentation of the multimodal terminal project in Batumi port.

The event was held in Batumi, which was attended by Tornike Rizvadze, Chairman of Government of Adjara and other officials.

According to the Ministry of Economy, the agreement was signed between the American company Trammo, one of the founders and project investors of Wondernet Express Investment Group.

According to Giorgi Kobulia, the project will have a very high efficiency for the Batumi port and Adjara, as well as the Georgian Railway which will transport the cargo. “A new terminal project will attract new cargo and create new jobs in Batumi port”, – Giorgi Kobulia said.
