World Health Organization (WHO) deems performance of the Government of Georgia at large and Ministry of Health in particular as being effective and with high standards, -Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia said at the Executive Government Meeting today.

According to PM, these are not just words but these are results of the fight against COVID-19 achieved by Georgia till present.

“World Health Organization (WHO) deems performance of the Government of Georgia at large and Ministry of Health in particular as being effective and with high standards. These are not mere words. We refer to the results of the fight against COVID-19 achieved till present. Nevertheless, we should all remember that it is a global challenge. We should not relax for even a second, but further increase the effectiveness of the joint effort of fight”, – PM said.

Head of Government of Georgia expressed gratitude towards medical doctors, border protection guards and customs officers.

“Once again, I wish to underline that we are obliged to thank medical doctors, border protection guard, customs officers and we should do it regularly until we succeed in combating the challenge”  – the Prime Minister said.
