The self-regulatory body of Rustavi 2 TV company has suspended Giorgi Gabunia, anchor of P.S. program, from duties for a term of two months.

The regarding information is posted on Rustavi 2 website.

According to the statement of the self-regulatory body, restrictions have been imposed on the programs prepared and hosted by Gabunia.

“By the decision of the self-regulatory body, journalist Giorgi Gabunia has been fully suspended from duties for two months. The restriction applies to all programs he is involved in”, –  reads the statement released by TV channel.

On July 7, Giorgi Gabunia, the anchor of the program “P.S” of Rustavi 2 TV Company insulted Russian President Vladimir Putin using swear words.
