Geostat: Top trading partner by exports for Georgia is Russia, while Turkey is top importer

According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in January-October 2019 the share of the top ten trading partners by exports in the total exports of Georgia amounted to 72.7 percent. The top partners were Russia (USD 409.8 million), Azerbaijan (USD 400.4 million) and Armenia (USD 310.4 million).

According to Geostat, in January-October 2019 the share of the top ten trading partners by imports in the total imports of Georgia amounted to 65.6 percent. The top partners were Turkey (USD 1 300.3 million), Russia (USD 774.2 million) and China (USD 721.2 million).

In January-October 2019 the share of the top ten trading partners in the total external trade turnover of Georgia amounted to 66.6 percent. The top trading partners were Turkey (USD 1 469.8 million), Russia (USD 1 184.0 million) and China (USD 871.8 million).
