Georgia’s Group of Friends within OSCE adopts statement

Georgia’s Group of Friends within OSCE adopted a statement in support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and state sovereignty during a ministerial ongoing in Vienna, Austria.

Georgia’s Group of Friends calls on Russia for observing international norms and fulfillment of taken obligations.

Based on the statement, discrimination of ethnic Georgians, prohibition of teaching in Georgian language and so-called borderization are condemned. Russia is asked to act constructive role in internationally mediated negotiations.

Georgia’s Group of Friends supports Georgia’s aspiration to become integrated in European structures and welcome carried out reforms in the country.
