Georgian short films to be screened to the "BRIDGES. East of West Film Days"

Georgian short films  – Mama (Father), Lethe, Fatherland, The Animal will be screened at the third “BRIDGES. East of West Film Days” at the Centre for Fine Arts from 22 to 26 January 2020.

As the organizers say, the festival provides a rare opportunity to discover the different facets of cinematographic creation in countries such as Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Moldova and Belarus.

“The shorts programme will contribute to a better understanding of current issues facing Georgian society on social and political levels. The films point towards an urgent need for systemic metamorphosis and the importance of a role for every human being in reshaping societal values in contemporary Georgia,” organizers said.
