Georgian Public Broadcaster starts pre-elections training for its journalists

Georgian Public Broadcaster starts pre-elections training for its journalists.

The training will be led remotely by the BBC’s trainer Jonathan Stoneman.

The training will be based on the 6 values of the Public Service Media and covers topics such as impartiality and independence, accuracy, fairness, and accountability.

The online training will be held on September 1,14,15,16,17,18 and the journalistic corps of the GPB will take part in it.

Jonathan Stoneman worked for the BBC for 20 years as researcher, producer, reporter, editor and finally Head of Training at World Service.

Stoneman currently runs the consulting company “Stonepeople Media”.
