Georgian PM meets with Ukrainian President

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili held a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky following his meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov on Sunday.

According to the government’s press statement, the parties reviewed the partnership between the two countries, political-economic cooperation, and international aspirations.

Due to high-level bilateral visits, Georgian-Ukrainian relations have been especially dynamic and intense over the past few months, said Zelensky.

Ukrainian President thanked Garibashvili for his strong support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, also, for participating in the Crimean Platform Summit.

Zelensky reaffirmed Ukraine’s unwavering support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty within its internationally recognized borders, the press statement read.

Georgian PM will be participating in the Crimean Platform Summit on Monday, which will be attended by over 40 sovereign leaders.
