Georgian PM attending the meeting at 'Georgian Dream' office

The Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia is attending the meeting at ‘Georgian Dream’ office.

The majority meeting is being held at ‘Georgian Dream’ office from the morning.

The constitutional changes prepared by the parliamentary majority regarding transformation onto the proportional system of elections were turned down in the parliament.

The parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition parties, as well as civic activists, protest Parliament`s decision and demand the resignation of Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia and proportional snap elections.

Members of the ‘It’s a Shame’ and ‘change’ movements held a protest rally in front of the Parliament on Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi yesterday.

The demonstrators have urged the public to join them at 7 p.m. today.
