Georgian national anthem was performed simultaneously in Georgia's cities and world capitals

Georgian national anthem has been performed at several cities of Georgia at 17:10 simultaneously on the occasion of the Independence Day of Georgia on May 26.

The anthem was performed in the following cities: Tbilisi, Rustavi, Batumi, Telavi, Marneuli, Gori, Akhaltsikhe, Akhalkalaki, Kutaisi, Ambrolauri, Zugdidi, Mestia, Poti, Stepantsminda and Ozurgeti.

In addition, the Georgian national anthem was performed in the capitals of various countries. In the countries of America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, including: Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Estonia, Spain, Turkey, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Hungary, Moldova, Israel, Brazil, Argentina, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Latvia, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Slovenia, France, Ukraine, Lietuva.  Representatives of Georgian diplomatic missions and Georgian diaspora gathered and performed the national anthem.

On May 26, 1918, on Sunday, exactly at 17:10, the National Council of Georgia adopted the Act of State Independence.
