Georgian gov't condemns violence, rocket attacks against civilians in Israel

“The Georgian government is closely following developments unfolded in Israel and strongly condemns violence and rocket attacks against civilians, which undermine peace and stability in the wider region,” the Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani tweeted.

“There is no alternative to the de-escalation of tensions in the region,” FM underscored.

The Israeli Embassy in Tbilisi claims it is grateful to Georgian friends for their heartfelt expressions of support and solidarity.

“Millions of Israeli civilians are currently sitting in shelters, worried about their families and friends. We pray that violence will end soon and peace prevails,” Embassy stated.
