Georgian Foreign Minister meets with US President’s Advisor

Georgian Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani met with US President Donald Trump’s Senior Advisor for European and Eurasian Affairs Fiona Hill.

According to the Foreign Ministry, talks were held about the main aspects of Georgia-US strategic partnership.  The Georgian side once again received unwavering support from the US to ongoing reforms, European and Euro-Atlantic integration aspiration and territorial integrity and state sovereignty.

Davit Zalkaliani, Georgian Foreign Minister paid a working visit to Washington, US, on April 3-6 where he took part in various activities held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of North-Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Zalkaliani participated in the international conference “NATO Engages: The Alliance at 70 Years,” organized by the US Atlantic Council, German Marshal Fund of the United States and Munich International Conference.

Georgian Foreign Minister also held bilateral meetings with Foreign Ministers of NATO member states and representatives of US Executive and legislative authorities.
