Georgian Dream leaders laid flowers at memorial of Georgian national hero Giorgi Antsukhelidze

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, the Mayor of Tbilisi, the Secretary General of the Georgian Dream, Kakha Kaladze, the Minister of Defense, the Political Secretary of the Georgian Dream, Irakli Gharibashvili laid flowers at the memorial of Georgian national hero Giorgi Antsukhelidze in Kvemo Alvani village, Akhmeta Municipality of eastern Kakheti region.

Giorgi Antsukhelidze was a sergeant of the 1st Infantry Brigade, who was tortured and killed after he was captured in the course of the Russia–Georgia war of August 2008. He was posthumously awarded the Order of National Hero. In 2013, a memorial was unveiled in the village of Kvemo Alvani.
