Georgian citizen with COVID-19 returns to Georgia by reanimobile

With the help of the Consulate General of Georgia in Istanbul, a Georgian citizen, who was diagnosed with coronavirus in Istanbul and has undergone medical treatment in one of the clinics in Turkey for 20 days, is returning to Georgia today, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

According to the agency, the citizen will be put in the reanimobile. He will continue treatment in Georgia.

The Ministry once again noted that the Government of Georgia continues the phased repatriation of Georgian citizens from abroad.

Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, the Georgian Government has already organized the return of up to 5000 Georgian citizens from such countries as China, Italy, Iran, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Belarus, Netherlands, Egypt, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
