Georgian Armed Forces celebrate 28th anniversary of establishment

April 30 is the Day of Georgian Army. The Georgian Armed Forces celebrate the 28^th anniversary of the establishment today.

Georgian Defense Minister Levan Izoria will congratulate Georgian soldiers serving their duty in international peacekeeping missions from Management Center of the Ministry.

A presentation of a new project of apartments will be held at Makhata Mount with participation of Defense Minister and Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze. They will lay a foundation for the building.

The main activity of the awarding ceremony of the Georgian military servicemen with medals will then take place at Vaziani military base. Representatives of legislative and executive authorities and Diplomatic Corps will attend the ceremony.
