Georgian actor Merab Ninidze nominated for BIFA

The Georgian actor Merab Ninidze has been nominated for the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) for Best Supporting Actor in the movie The Courier.

Merab Ninidze is starring in the movie together with the British actor Benedict Cumberbatch best known for the series Sherlock and The Imitation Game.

Variety publication reports that winners in 17 nominations of BIFA will be announced in February of 2021.

BIFA highlight and reward the best, most innovative, and creative independent filmmaking and filmmakers in the UK since 1998.
