Georgia will receive about USD 40 million from IMF

Georgia will receive about USD 40 million from the International Monetary Fund, – said Mercedes Vera-Martin, the head of the mission of International Monetary Fund (IMF).

According to her, the funds used by the country’s current program will reach USD 210 million.

The joint briefing of President of the National Bank of Georgia, Koba Gvenetadze, Head of the mission of International Monetary Fund Mercedes Vera-Martin and Finance Minister Ivane Machavariani is underway at the Government Administration. The main issue of the briefing is the completion of the Fourth Review of  “Extended Fund Facility”.
