Georgia to receive 100 000 Sinopharm vaccines on April 3

Georgia will receive 100 000 Chinese Sinopharm vaccine shots on April 3, said Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia.

Hungary is the only EU country that has approved the vaccine and uses Sinopharm jabs. It, however, still lacks the authorization of the World Health Organization.

According to Gabunia, the vaccine is stored at a +2/+8 temperature regime. “Any vaccine, which will advance the national immunization plan, is helpful. We will continue to communicate with the WHO to know if any risks are detected,” Deputy Health Minister claimed.
