Georgia resumes international flights from February 1. Economy Minister Natia Turnava said flights recommence in line with all medical protocols and safety rules.
Georgia also eased entry regulations both for Georgian nationals and foreigners.
The Georgian citizens have two options. The first option is to present a negative PCR test and enter 8-day self-isolation, or the second option to take another PCR test at their own expense on the third day to avoid self-isolation if the test comes negative. 8-day self-isolation is unavoidable if the Georgian citizen does not present a negative PCR test.
As for foreigners traveling to Georgia, vaccinated citizens of any country will be able to enter Georgia. They should present a complete vaccination document.
Not vaccinated citizens and nationals of the EU, Israel, Switzerland, the USA, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain can also enter Georgia if they present a negative PCR test conducted within the past 72 hours. These nationals must retest for Covid-19 on the third day. If the result is negative, self-isolation would not be required.
