Georgia reports first cases of Indian COVID-19 variant

Georgia has reported five cases of Indian COVID-19 variant, National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) confirmed on Thursday.

All five patients have been identified. They arrived in Georgia from abroad. Three of them left the country and the remaining two patients have been in isolation. Their health condition is satisfactory, NCDC added.
