Georgia reported 723 coronavirus cases, 932 recoveries, and 19 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 321 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 121 cases and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti with 78 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 256 287, among them 246 459 people recovered and 3 127 died.

There are 538 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 2 770 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 346 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
