Georgia reports 663 coronavirus cases, 2,383 recoveries, 27 deaths

Georgia reported 663 coronavirus cases, 2,383 recoveries, and 27 deaths on September 27, the official figures show.

13,277 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 7,302 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 5,975 were PCR tests.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4,99%, while 6,01% in the past seven days.

Georgian capital of Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 245 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 123 cases and the Kakheti region with 101 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 607,155, among them, 578,881 people recovered and 8,844  died.

There are 45 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 4,569 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 776 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.

Currently, out of 1,074 critical patients, 288 require mechanical ventilation.

As of today, 1,749,457 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 6,617 in a day.
