Georgia reported 602 coronavirus cases, 569 recoveries, and 11 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show. The positivity rate for the last 7 days stands at 3. 74%.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 246 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 101 cases and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 77 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 261 620, among them 252 815 people recovered and 3 269 died.

There are 485 people placed in the government-assigned quarantine facilities, 2 231 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 295 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at Covid hotels.
