Georgia reports 5,050 coronavirus cases, 4,214 recoveries, 80 deaths

Georgia reported 5,050 coronavirus cases, 4,214 recoveries, and 80 deaths on November 30, the official figures show.

53,854 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 37,153 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 16,701 were PCR tests.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1,821 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 865 cases, and the Kakheti region with 317 cases.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 9,38%, while 8,95% in the past seven days.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 845,643, among them, 788,201 people recovered and 12,054 died.

There are 40 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6,554 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,135 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.

Currently, out of 1,674 critical patients, 361 require mechanical ventilation.

As of today, 2,170,057 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 13,603 in a day.
