Georgia reports 5 new cases of COVID-19, two recoveries

Five new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been detected in Georgia, bringing the total number of infected persons to 973.

The information about infected people has recently been updated on the special web-page stopcov.ge created by the Georgian government.

Two more patients recovered from the novel virus in the past 24 hours. The total number of recovered patients stands at 846 at present.

The 15 patients died of COVID-19 in the country. Thirty-one people are brought from abroad for medical treatment (3+28 Georgian soldiers brought from Afghanistan).

Currently, 4851 people remain in quarantine and 231 – under medical observation.
