Georgia reported 493 coronavirus cases, 552 recoveries, and 10 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 244 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 59 cases, and the Guria region with 39 cases.
A total of 19 869 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 13 410 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 6 459 were PCR tests.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 268 995, among them 262 796 people recovered and 3 457 died.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2.48 %, while 2.4% over the week.
There are 285 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1 606 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 192 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
