Georgia reports 469 coronavirus cases, 1 792 recoveries, 14 deaths

Georgia reported 469 coronavirus cases, 1 792 recoveries, and 14 deaths on Wednesday, the Interagency Coordination Council representative, Berdia Sichinava announced.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 212 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 61 cases and the Adjara region with 33 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 249 934, among them 236 922 people recovered and 2 987 died.

There are 478 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 3 576 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 543 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities, the official figures show.

Currently, there are 745 critical patients, among them, 217 require mechanical ventilation.
