Georgia reported 461 coronavirus cases, 163 recoveries, and 12 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 250 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 57 cases and the Shida Kartli region with 35 cases.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2.01 %, while 1,4% in the past 7 days.
A total of 22 900 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 16 895 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 6 005 were PCR tests.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 271 379, among them 265 686 people recovered and 3 532 died.
There are 237 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1 471 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 149 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
