Georgia reports 4,104 coronavirus cases, 4,627 recoveries, 67 deaths

Georgia reported 4,104 coronavirus cases, 4,627 recoveries, and 67 deaths on November 7, the official figures show.

37,115 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 22,126 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,989 were PCR tests.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1,635 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 766 cases and the Kakheti region with 420 cases.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 11,06%, while 10,45% in the past seven days.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 752,855, among them, 688,781 people recovered and 10,435 died.

There are 48 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1,314 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,091 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.

As of today, 2,003,963 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 3,453 in a day.
