Georgia reports 4 260 new coronavirus cases, 2 947 recoveries

Georgia has reported 4 260 new coronavirus cases, 2 947 recoveries, and 45 deaths in the past 24 hours, Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Head of the Task Force operating at Inter-Agency Coordination Council, stated at a briefing held at the Government Administration on Thursday.

In total, Georgia’s confirmed coronavirus cases increased to 147 636, including 124 568 recovered and 1 387 died.

1,974 people are placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities and 50,544 people remain in self-isolation. Currently, 3 867 COVID patients undergo treatment at COVID hotels, 6 561 people remain at hospitals, and 11 227 infected people manage their symptoms at home.
