Georgia reports 4 058 coronavirus cases, 2 157 recoveries, 61 deaths

Georgia reported 4 058 coronavirus cases, 2 157 recoveries, and 61 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 550 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 766 cases, and the Shida Kartli region with 354 cases.

A total of 53 440 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 29 899 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 23 541 were PCR tests.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 7, 59 %, while 9, 01 % in the past 14 days.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 835 306 among them 774 458 people recovered and 11 871 died.

There are 56 people quarantined, 6 515 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 167 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.

As of November 27, 2 145 233 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 10 179 in a day.
