Georgia reported 373 coronavirus cases, 542 recoveries, and 14 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 177 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 47 cases and the Shida Kartli region with 41 cases.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1, 07 %, while 1, 76 % over the past week.

A total of 34 933 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 23 966 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 10 967 were PCR tests.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 270 510, among them 264 589 people recovered and 3 499 died.

There are 332 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1 481 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 164 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
