Georgia reported 357 coronavirus cases, 652 recoveries, and 9 deaths on Sunday, the official figures show. The positivity rate over the past 7 days stands at 2,76%.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 150 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 49cases and the Guria region with 35 cases.
A total of 19 345 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 12 173 tests were rapid tests, 7 172 – PCR tests.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 265 557, among them 258 093 people recovered and 3 352 died.
There are 212 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1 948 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 238 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at Covid hotels.
