Georgia reports 352 coronavirus cases, 808 recoveries, 9 deaths

Georgia has reported 352 coronavirus cases, 808 recoveries, and nine deaths on Monday, the official figures show.

14,074 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 6,102 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7,972 were PCR tests.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 225 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regions with 23 cases and the Kvemo Kartli region with 20 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 363,874, among them, 350,466 people recovered and 5,275 died.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2,5%, while 2,47% in the past 14 days.

There are 40 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 2,602 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 598 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.

Currently, out of 600 critical patients, 164 require mechanical ventilation.

As of today, 254,737 people got the coronavirus vaccine.
